The hörSort glass plate from hörmle was specially developed for high-precision testing of rotationally symmetrical turned parts. It is fully automated and customizable for maximum process reliability, speed and quality.
Why hörSort
The hörSort system with glass plate has a modular design, which means that all components can be individually adapted to your requirements. The central unit is an image processing system that enables diverse and complex monitoring and control functions. The turned parts are precisely guided, measured and sorted on a glass plate. The inspections include the dimensional inspection of components as well as surface inspection and thread inspection. Special tasks that cannot be solved for the actual inspection on the glass plate machine can be realized using an upstream indexed rotary table and corresponding special application.

Inclined conveyors & hoppers - robust feeding
Steep conveyors with hopper systems ensure a continuous and gentle material supply:

Separation and singulation
A vibratory bowl feeder reliably separates the components and places them on a conveyor belt at regular intervals.

Autovisual inspection with high-performance cameras
High-precision testing is carried out on the glass plate using up to 10 high-resolution cameras.

Discharge & documentation
Good and bad parts are automatically blown out and discharged separately. A digital test report can be created as an option - for complete traceability.
Automated packaging solutions
Good parts are transferred via a conveyor belt to a packaging belt or a packaging rotary table. Fully automatic packaging systems can be integrated as an option.
