The hörSort system with glass chute was specially developed for the fully automatic inspection of rotationally symmetrical, bolt-like parts – for maximum quality assurance with a high cycle rate and minimum set-up effort.
Why hörSort
The hörSort system with glass chute was specially developed for the 100% inspection of rotationally symmetrical, bolt-like parts. The central unit is an image processing system that enables diverse and complex inspection and control functions. The turned parts are precisely guided, measured and sorted via a V- or L-rail on a glass chute. All components can be adapted to your individual requirements or the space situation in your production facility.

The ideal process for rotationally symmetrical turned parts:
Flexibly adjustable control with the glass slide
The hörSort glass chute is specially designed for rotationally symmetrical components. This gives you maximum flexibility with minimum set-up effort. It can be quickly adapted to different types of parts:
- V-rail: for cylindrical parts with Ø 2-34 mm
- L-rail: for disc-shaped parts with a piece weight of up to 80 g
Inclined conveyors & hoppers - robust feeding
An inclined conveyor with integrated hopper ensures an automated and gentle material supply:
- Capacity: 80-500 kg
- Filling height: 800 mm
Separation and singulation
A vibratory bowl feeder reliably separates the parts and positions them at regular intervals on a conveyor belt - optimally prepared for visual inspection.
Autovisual inspection with high-performance cameras
The parts are scanned by 1 - 5 high-resolution cameras as they slide down the glass chute in a controlled manner.
The non-contact inspection ensures fast and precise quality control.

Discharge & documentation
Good and bad parts are specifically separated and discharged via a separator. An automatic test report can be created as an option - for documented quality and traceability.
Automated packaging solutions
The inspected good parts are transferred via a conveyor belt to a packaging belt or a packaging rotary table. Fully automatic packaging units can also be integrated into the process if required.
